canto errante 6 v2.jpg

2022 – CANTO ERRANTE – for ensamble | camerata

A tribute to the centenary of the 1922 Week of Modern Art and to Mário de Andrade. The concept was to use compositions by executive producer Pedro Ferreira as a starting point, creating both arrangements — integrating the instrumentation while preserving the original melody—and fantasias, which deconstruct the material, create ruptures, and render the original idea unrecognizable, resulting in an entirely new work. The album features four of my arrangements based on Pedro Ferreira’s compositions and four original fantasias. Conducted by Luís Corbani, featuring a large instrumental ensemble composed entirely of musicians from OSESP.
